Brand identity and website design for a real estate agency near Lisbon

About the project
A brand that holds its own on a shop window, and a catalogue that shows the facts first
The challenge
Coin sells villas and apartments around Cascais and Lisbon to buyers who compare many homes at once. The agency needed a mark it could put on its office windows and its business cards, and a website where a buyer sees the price, the place and the size of every home before opening it.

What property sites usually get wrong
Agencies at this end of the market sell on photography, so the facts end up hidden inside each listing. A buyer comparing a three million euro villa with a one million apartment has to open every one to find the number, the location and the size.

The approach
The mark is a lion inside a coin, an old sign of value, drawn so it holds up in gold foil on a business card and in vinyl on a shop window. The palette is near black, warm gold and a deep blue, with a cream for paper. On the website every listing card shows the price, the place, the type, the bedrooms, the bathrooms and the square metres in the same order, the gallery has its own counter, and the filters stay on screen with a clear way back to everything. The pages are dark so the photography carries them.

Where it stands
The brand is on the street, and the website stayed a design
The logo, the colours and the print are in use on the office windows, the signage and the business cards. The agency went another way for its website, so the catalogue was designed and handed over but never built. I show it because it is how I structure a catalogue, a filter and a property page.
