What this is not
Not a technical audit
I design and build websites. Security is a separate specialism, so I will tell you if something is visibly broken or out of date, but I can’t check whether your server is safe.
Not a promise of customers
Nobody can promise that. What I can tell you is what is stopping the people who already found you from getting in touch.
Not a sales call
There is no call at all. You get the list by email. If you want a price for fixing something, you ask me.
Not a request for access
Only the public address of your site. No passwords, no logins, nothing to hand over. If you offer me access, I will say no.
Not a mailing list
Your email is used to answer you and nothing else. One reply from me, and that is the end of it unless you write back.
Not unlimited
I do a few of these a week around client work. If I am full, I will tell you when I can get to it rather than going quiet.
People ask what the catch is. There isn’t one. Some of the businesses I review ask me to fix things afterwards, most do not, and it is still the most useful hour I spend: you see exactly how I think before you pay me anything.
