Website design and build for a dental practice in Dublin 8

About the project
A practice that does complicated work, explained so nobody has to decode it
The challenge
Kilmainham Dental Studio does general dentistry, cosmetic work, oral surgery and full mouth rehabilitation. A patient arriving with one worry had to work out which of those words applied to them before they could do anything about it. The site also had to move onto the practice's own domain without dropping out of search on the day of the switch.

What dental sites usually get wrong
Most of them list treatments by their clinical names, keep prices behind a phone call and send people off to a separate booking system. A patient has to work out what they need and what it will cost before they can even ask.

The approach
Every treatment is explained in plain words, so a patient can find the one that fits their worry without a dictionary. All the fees sit on one page that filters by category, which answers the first question before anyone has to call. Booking opens in place, the phone number is one tap away on every screen, and on a phone the booking bar stays within reach of a thumb. PRSI cover has its own page, other dentists get a referral form, and the questions are grouped by treatment area. The practice edits treatments, fees, cases and questions itself.

Where it stands
Live on its own domain, and built so the practice can keep it current
The site is live at kilmainhamdentalstudio.ie. Treatments, fees, cases and questions are all editable by the practice, so the parts that change most often do not need me.
